Mailerguard considers the diligent treatment of your personal data of great importance. Mailerguard will process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016).

The processing of personal data referred to above is permitted according to the law on grounds of your giving implicit permission for it by contacting Mailerguard.

In addition, Mailerguard processes personal data if and to the extent this is required on grounds of a legal requirement or court order, as well as on the so-called legal ground of ‘legitimate interests’. By legitimate interests is intended, for example, the detection of (attempts at) unlawful and/or criminal behaviour directed at Mailerguard or third parties, for instance in connection with the use of the website. Also intended by legitimate interests is the processing (which also includes the storing) of your personal data by the hosting provider of Mailerguard, to be able to operate the website and e-mail facilities of Mailerguard.

In such case, Mailerguard makes sure that the processing of your personal data outside the EEA takes place in a safe and lawful manner. Mailerguard will, therefore, take the necessary steps in that connection so as to guarantee that your personal data is sufficiently protected.

It applies in all cases, that exclusively collaborators of Mailerguard who have been authorised to such effect have access to your personal data and exclusively to the extent necessary for the implementation of the tasks assigned to it. This also applies for third parties to which Mailerguard provides personal data (in an automated manner) as described above. Under no circumstance will Mailerguard sell your personal data. The persons falling under the responsibility of Mailerguard, as well as third parties deployed by Mailerguard, are obligated to respect the privacy of your personal data. To the extent Mailerguard outsources the processing of personal data to a third party, Mailerguard will take the necessary steps to guarantee that your personal data will be sufficiently protected. Such steps comprise, in and to the extent required by the law, the application of a processor agreement with such receivers to make sure that they take the same or comparable technical and organisational measures as Mailerguard, so that your personal data is sufficiently protected.
